RETHINK: Web3 Profiles and Networking Update
The goal of RETHINK is to provide an all-in-one solution for networking, personal development, recruitment, and service providers in the Web3 space. Prior to this new update, we launched two recruitment-based products CONNECT and the RETHINK job board which you can learn more about here. Over a week ago we launched our Web3 profiles and networking update, and since then we are pleased to announce that we have had over 1500 unique profiles created.

Profiles
Currently, our Web3 identities are fragmented across multiple chains, social networking platforms, and 3rd party applications. Hence, a core element of RETHINK is to provide a central hub for creating and showcasing your personal online brand identity. Starting today, you can do so on the RETHINK application by creating a profile.
Your profile:
- Status: open to work / open to networking
- Location, timezone: current timezone and location
- Core skills: core proficiencies and competencies
- Socials: verified 3rd party accounts
- Connections: connections formed with users
- About: open-ended long description
- Experience: past and present work history
- Reviews: ratings given by other users
Profile data is currently stored off-chain but in the future will be stored on-chain — whether that is on an existing or new chain created by us. This will allow profiles to not only be anonymous, customizable, and verifiable. The first iteration of profiles available now acts as the building blocks to bridge the gap between the plethora of tools our ecosystem has to offer.
For example, users will be able to list services, find jobs, and network whilst simultaneously building their brand by completing educational courses and unlocking achievements.
Note: to use CONNECT or use our jobs board you now need a profile.
Networking
Our new networking feature has been in great demand since the inception of Rethinkable. This update allows users to communicate within our app and form a professional network through exploration.
Networking features:
- Build a network: Connect with colleagues, friends, and individuals
- Explore: Discover talent and collaborators to add to your network
- View networks: Browse other networks and mutual connections
Quality of life features:
- Messaging (beta): Conveniently message and communicate with companies or individuals through in-app messaging
- Notifications: Receive updates about new activities such as connection requests in a convenient location
Final notes
Implied features such as settings, smart logins (socials and wallets), search bars, filters, and other essential features have also been implemented. The profiles and networking updates can only be truly appreciated when used.
